SNOWY RIVER JACKPOT N-NATIONAL (COLT) Z231616 (ONTARIO)
Date of Birth: June 17 2026
Gender: Colt
Expected Height at Maturity: 15.2 – 15.3hh
Color: Smokey Black
PLEASE SEE VIDEOS BELOW
A striking smokey black Canadian colt with a beautifully refined, athletic build and plenty of presence. This colt has caught our eye from the beginning. He shows a lovely balance of refinement and substance, with an attractive, expressive head, a nicely shaped neck, good length of leg and a strong, well-proportioned body. He has good bone without appearing heavy or coarse and carries himself with a naturally proud, athletic presence.
On the move, he is light on his feet with an effortless, forward way of going. As he continues to mature, we think he has the makings of a very versatile Canadian—whether his future is under saddle or as a breeding prospect.
His smokey black coloring is an added bonus. National carries one copy of the cream gene, so if retained as a breeding stallion, he has a 50% chance of passing the cream gene to each offspring. A handsome young colt offering refinement, movement, color and the unmistakable characteristics of the Canadian Horse. More videos to come.
Available after weaning in October. Price: $6500 CAD plus HST. If purchased with his Sister North ($7000 CAD), we would let them leave together with $1000 CAD off for the two ($12,500 CAD, instead of $13,500 CAD). Located in Coldwater, Ontario. SNOWY RIVER JACKPOT NORTH (FILLY) Z231378 (ONTARIO)
Date of Birth: May 13 2026
Expected Height at Maturity: 15.2 – 15.3hh
Gender: Filly
Color: Smokey Black
A beautiful smokey black Canadian filly with a more traditional, baroque style, plenty of substance and an incredibly friendly personality. She is developing into a powerful, eye-catching young filly with good bone, a substantial body and a strong hindquarter. North has a lovely Canadian-type head and neck and already shows that characteristic presence of the breed.
Her movement is one of my favorite things about her. She is naturally forward and expressive, with good reach through the front and plenty of push from behind. She has an impressive, ground-covering stride and isn’t afraid to show off when she gets moving! Temperament-wise, she is an absolute sweetheart—very friendly, curious and people-oriented. More videos to come.
She is smokey black and carries one copy of the cream gene. If eventually used as a broodmare, she will have a 50% chance of passing cream to each offspring, making her an interesting future breeding prospect as well as a lovely performance prospect. A substantial, baroque-style Canadian filly offering size, movement, temperament and the added bonus of the cream gene.
Available after weaning end of September. Price: $7000 CAD plus HST. If purchased with her Brother National (at very top, $6500 CAD), we would let them leave together with $1000 CAD off for the two at $12,500 CAD (instead of $13,500 CAD).
