4 year old Canadian Stallion:  Royal Iron Amaro Jenesis (Jinks):

Purebred Cheval Canadian stallion prospect with outstanding lines.  Should mature 16hh.

Purpose:   bred for sport; eventing / jumping / dressage, was meant to be a professional’s personal horse to event with and remain a stallion to preserve the breed.  He himself is homozygous black, but carries a cream gene so he can produce a greater variety of offspring color depending on the dam (of course black, bay, but also palomino, buckskin, etc).  Jenesis is everything we hoped for when breeding his carefully selected sire/dam combination.  He has exceptionally nice and correct conformation, by far the fanciest movement I’ve seen in the breed, all of the positive Canadian traits you could wish for, ie; gorgeous mane, amazing feet, fantastic bone, will leave his food to come say hello every time, and loves every second of interaction he can get, a great mind – curious, bold, brave, not afraid of anything, will gladly leave his herd to go explore, learns extremely quickly and retains what he’s taught, great work ethic, willing to try anything, always has a “smile” on his face, and loves his people – as well as fantastic athletic ability.  He naturally lifts the shoulder and steps well from behind, has fantastic hock and knee action.  Jenesis is up to date on everything, just had his teeth floated and rabies plus spring vaccines.  He ties and cross ties, loads and hauls great, gets along well with geldings, good for vet, farrier (every six weeks since a foal), blanketing, bathing, clipping, grooming, etc.

Jenesis is an important stallion for the breed.  His bloodlines, color genetics and movement will absolutely contribute desirable qualities that buyers are looking for to his offspring.  Right now, all of his stallion hormones have finally hit all at once and he’s surrounded by mares in spring heat, without being bred.  When he is worked 6-7 days a week he is exceptional, focused, calm and respectful.  When he is not, at least right now in this hormonal overload phase, he is distracted and nippy (until haltered and given a task) and will either stand at the gate staring at all of the mares (quietly, at least) or be very busy moving around in his field or annoying his gelding buddy.

Owner has new ongoing medical struggles preventing dedicating as many days per week to Jenesis as he needs right now, which is why he is being offered for sale.  Ideally a home that will keep him a stallion and use / him for competition/campaign him, as he was bred for, and use him for breeding.  We realize this is a unicorn home.  Alternatively, an agreement to collect him before gelding would also be considered.  May consider an exceptional home that will use him for competition and wants to geld as well, but first preference is to retain his level of quality to contribute to this dying breed.  He has been raised around crazy children with bikes, trampolines, swings, balloons, etc., chickens, dogs, a cow best friend, farm equipment, etc. and has been great with all of it.  Currently located in Kalispell, MT.  $15K USD.  Can be reached on FB (Courtney Duckett).  To reach me by phone 541-430-7121 or email, courtduckett@gmail.com
