PEDIGREE

“Chloe” is a 24-year-old 15hh registered Canadian mare.  She is mild-mannered and sweet, low on the pecking order, and in her lifetime has done Competitive Trail Riding, a few breed shows and was an all-around trail and recreational mount for a teen girl.  She has not been ridden in several years but has excellent ground manners, ties, stands for the farrier and vet.  She is a little timid with trailering and needs a patient loading, but has been trailered many times in her life.

She has no known lameness issues, perfect feet, has been kept strictly on hay, salt and water for her lifetime (though, could likely use a little bit of added nutrients for maintenance as she enters her senior years).  Chloe has had two foals but is NOT available for breeding due to her age.

We are looking for a kind, knowledgeable and loving home for her as she enters her golden years. She is likely suitable for light recreational riding, with a gentle re-start under saddle.  All inquiries will be heavily vetted, and a free lease contract will be in place.  Preference will be given to homes within 2 hours drive of Ottawa area.  For more information on this outstanding senior mare, please contact Kait at  kaitjulianna@gmail.com
