Very sweet 22 year old Registered Canadian Mare available as a companion ONLY horse or the right non-riding program like therapeutic.  Excellent ground-manners and very friendly.  Loves attention and building connections – she’s the one who knickers when you call her.  Not currently working, but doing light exercise to keep her moving and manage her arthritis.  She is a joy to handle.

UTD on vaccinations and de-worming. Feet in excellent condition, has previously been shod.  Existing condition: uveitis in right eye for which she receives regular treatment.  Presently well managed with regular consultation from vet.  Obviously, due to her age, Penny is not to be bred.

Reason for re-homing is simply that we have finite funding and Penny no longer fits within our program however we do recognize the responsibility we took on which is why we are looking for a free lease in the event she needs to return to us.  We are exploring other options to support with maintenance costs, but we’re a non-profit with two other working horses.
