Long yearling chestnut filly with chrome offered for sale. We have quite a few prospects to work with at this time so Iris is available to a good, approved home. Excellent all around prospect for English, Western, trails, driving, and as a future broodmare.
Iris has a sweet, soft and gentle disposition (not a boss mare). She is well socialized with the big herd of mares and foals and is used to living in a big natural field with hills, water, trees, etc. Iris is friendly out in a big field and typically comes to be “caught” or just to visit and be scratched.
Iris has excellent basic handling. She leads, ties, loads/unloads, trailers by herself or with company. She likes grooming and attention and is well behaved for hoof trims. She has excellent feet and good overall conformation. She has been to the indoor arena a couple of times and been introduced to lunging and carrying a saddle. She tends to take things in stride.
Iris is up to date on 5-way vaccines, de-worming and hoof trims. She has never been injured and has clean legs with no blemishes.
