Kir is a 15.3h 16 year old mare with notable bloodlines. Her sire was Rainville Wilfrid Star, a stallion from Cosyland Farms. Her dame was Brandy Creek Pierrot Contessa, a sister of Pierrot Rex and a daughter of a Coco mare.
Show experience: Kir participated in several dressage shows when she was younger at training level. She was ready to move up to Level 1, according to her trainer. We do not have her scores as she was leased at the time but believe she placed in the middle to low 60s.
She needs an experienced horse person as she can be marish (especially if she is not busy). Kir is a joy to ride and loves to work in a ring or on the trails, either alone or with others. She is smart, bold and curious. She is an easy keeper so her diet must be monitored. She has mild arthritis which is managed with medication. A vet report is available to serious inquirers. Currently she is leased to two women and is living in Saanich, BC. We are looking for a home for Kir’s next career as a riding, possibly driving horse and/or broodmare. Asking price: $1,800 CAD.
