Kerosene is an exceptional coming 3-year-old chestnut Canadian mare (June 2023), offering the kind of quality, temperament, and presence that is becoming increasingly hard to find. 

Purchased directly from the breeder at 24 hours old and handled daily since 6 months of age, she has been thoughtfully raised with a strong foundation. She has excellent ground manners, is respectful and easy to work around, and genuinely enjoys human interaction—often meeting you at the gate.

Kerosene is up to date on all veterinary and farrier care, and stands quietly and correctly for both.

She is well-developed, with a strong, balanced build, and is at an ideal stage to begin her under-saddle career this year.  She has been lightly introduced to a rider, having been sat on bareback, and handled everything with a quiet, willing attitude.  This is a mare with the mind and foundation to excel in a variety of disciplines, whether under saddle or in harness.  I had intended to bring her along myself, but with a young baby at home, I’m no longer able to commit the time she deserves.
