I am quite attached to this pretty mare as she reminds me a lot of my special mare, Sylvie.  She is the only maternal sister to Sylvie and she is out of the first Canadian mare I ever owned (Beckett’s Creek Du Quebec Lily).  Her sire, Ferari, is well known and has produced many quality offspring.  However, after several breeding attempts in 2022, Argyl did not become pregnant and therefore it is most practical to sell her to someone looking for a riding horse.  She is a lot of fun to ride, but with many youngsters to ride/train this year, I don’t NEED to keep her.  She deserves her own person.

Argyl produced a lovely filly in 2011 who has gone on to become an excellent riding horse as well as an excellent broodmare.
Argyl goes walk/trot/canter in the area.  She understands the basics of moving off leg, side-pass etc, but could do with more refinement in this area.  Her best claim to fame, is that she is an amazing trail/mountain horse!  She is sure footed and game to go anywhere.  Excellent on all types of terrain, with dogs, other horses, wildlife, livestock, water, bridges, etc.  She is a fun girl to ride.  She is also super handy as a steady mount for ponying the younger horses or colts and helping to give them confidence down the trail.
Argyl ties, loads, trailers, high lines, hobbles, and is not typically spooky.  She is forward moving but not hot and is comfortable to ride with plenty of stamina.  Like many Canadians, she has a personality and likes to be treated with respect.  She will try her heart out for her person.  Argyl is an easy keeper, with good solid, feet and no health or soundness concerns.  She is well behaved for vet and farrier and is up to date on hoof trims, 5-way vaccines, de-worming and dental.  Asking $6500 CAD.  Located in prince George, BC.  For more information on the superb mare, please contact Mira at soulridgefarm@gmail.com
