Beckett's Creek Duc Limage #9115

Gelding Owned by Cherie Turner of Florida, USA.
They are currently showing 2nd Level dressage, schooling 3rd and higher (he has started piaffe and passage). She believes he has the talent to go as far as Prix St George. In addition to dressage, she practices natural horsemanship with him, does a little jumping, and quite a bit of trail riding. All round great horse.

Patenaude Wonder Charbon #6032 See Pedigree

Sire: Midal Fablo Wonder #5222
Dam: Du Bonheur Eric Joyeuse #4217
Born: July 7, 1993
Colour: True Black
Size: 16½h — 1290 lbs.
Bloodlines: 62½ % Ste. Anne • 12½ % Royal • 12½ % Viger • 12½% Pitro
Markings: Small star

Charbon is a stallion of incredible kindness and loved by all who have met him. He has a long fluid stride, great impulsion and more importantly, passes his qualities on to his offspring. He is slightly over 16 hands with a beautiful head, nice short back and excellent angles.

He has won numerous first place ribbons in not only conformation but also in English Pleasure and Dressage Suitability, (He was trained under saddle at 8 yrs old.) He was also the winner of the J.A. Couture 2 yr old colt class. In his debut year (2004) of dressage he consistently scored around the 65 mark also earning a few Reserve Championships in Level 1 at the OADG Dressage Shows. Unfortunately Charbon had an accident in 2006 and injured his shoulder so his dressage training was cut short.

He was a true gentleman in the ring and several dressage judges commented on his disposition and magnificent presence and the fact that he had a bright future ahead of him.  Charbon has scored 10’s in several areas of his classification, for bone, back, temperament to name just a few. His final score was considered “outstanding–rarely seen”.

To be a wonderful stallion is one thing, but what he can contribute to his offspring is what really counts. According to the owners of Charbon’s get, they love what he produces and his consistency in the quality and trainability of his foals. His offspring are seen in the winner’s circle, in everything from dressage to combined driving and are located from coast to coast in Canada and the USA.

Charbon is trained to collect on the phantom and his semen/motilty post collection is very good. A good home for Charbon is a must

COSYLAND NATCHO TOP-BRASS #12090 See Pedigree

Dam: Mainville Pharraud Carbonne #6324
Born: June 18, 2007
Colour: Bright Bay

Top Brass is a beautiful bright bay stallion, just like his sire Natcho! He is curious, friendly, correct and well balanced. From the first day he was born, he has been so easy to handle. He is a beautiful mover, very smart and willing – a pleasure to work with. We could see him doing dressage, jumping or would also be a nice driving horse. We have Top Gun who would match him in a pair – same movement, size etc. Top Brass is currently pastured with two geldings.

A good junior sire prospect or would also make an awesome performance gelding. Top Brass is being offered at a reasonable price to a good home.

COSYLAND REMI BANDIT #5957 See Pedigree

If you’re a breeder, you owe it to yourself to consider this proven stallion, as he carries such rare and valuable bloodlines, and he’s Mr. Personality Plus!

Due to owners’ time constraints and what is best for Bandit, he is being offered for sale to an approved home—one that would use him, drive him, and continue to offer shipped semen from him.

Bandit has been shown since he was 11 months old. He has been very well promoted (he is well known and liked). The time and money to properly market, manage and train a good breeding stallion is enormous… and all that has been done. All you have to do is announce that you’re the new owner.

He stands just over 15 hands tall, is deep bodied and short coupled, wide browed, and has excellent angles and great hocks. Bandit’s bloodlines are primarily Henryville, a line known for its docility. We believe he is the only stallion left from Remi and one of the very few proven stallions with that much Henryville in them. He has a willingness to please and an awesome temperament and work ethic. He is a multi-champion, winning several Futurities in both conformation and driving, J.A. Couture 2 yr old Stallion and Sire of Excellence in 2000 & 2001, and his foals have been out doing the same. He is often chosen for mares with longer heads as he shortens the length of head; and for high-spirited mares, as his temperament always comes through on the foals. His offspring are excelling at everything from jumping to combined driving and are located from coast to coast in Canada and the USA. During the J.A. Couture Contest in 1995, the CHBA chose the best horses in the breed and from those who entered the classification; Bandit was the second highest stallion in all of Quebec and Ontario. The trophies and ribbons this horse has won are impressive.

He has been trained to drive by Randy Bird of Harwood, Ontario, and was trained for collection on a phantom mare, hence has not done live cover for many years. His semen is of excellent quality, and motility post-collection is very impressive. One vet commented he could breed a fence post with the stuff and it would probably catch— this was three days after being collected!

Bandit personifies the Henryville temperament and is simply a great horse!

The approved purchaser would be invited to come to Cosyland for a few days to see how he is handled here, on the ground, for collection etc. If you’ve never owned a stallion, it would be a condition of sale that you come spend some time with Bandit. It is imperative that Bandit go to a good home—and the right home.

To further discuss this awesome stallion, I look forward to hearing from you. I prefer a telephone call, rather than email, anytime after 6:00 P.M. 613-535-1954. Regarding price, different options are available. Located in Williamsburg, Ontario.

COSYLAND BANDIT KIWI #8402
Written By Brad Bardua

Kiwi has been competing in show jumping and eventing with me over the last two years, (we purchased Kiwi in 2007) and competed successfully in dressage by my wife Lorraine (Training Level Champ at an EC sanctioned show).

Kiwi's bravery took her to a fifth place finish in her first event in a class of twenty horses at the Avalon Horse Trials in Duncan BC, again in 2007.

Show jumping is my chosen discipline and Kiwi took the 2008 Vancouver Island Hunter Jumper Assoc. Championship in our Low (3 foot) Jumper Division and was the Adult Amateur (3 foot jumper) Reserve Champion.

We spent the winter training for 1m / 3'3" classes, and my coach tells me her potential is to go higher.

Kiwi is a powerful chestnut mare with a substantial hind end. She has great enthusiasm for going over fences in the jumper ring while ridability is also good - we train and show in a snaffle bit.

Kiwi makes an impression on most people who see her. It is not uncommon to be approached at the stalls or after a jumping round by folks enquiring about her breed or children who want to pet her and give her a treat.

Sincerely,

Brad Bardua
